WE'RE ZACK & CARO

Our story started in two very different places — the Midwest in the U.S. and the mountains of Colombia, and somehow life brought us together around the same table, the same dream, and eventually, the same cup of coffee.

Caro grew up in Colombia, spending her childhood on her grandparents’ farm, surrounded by coffee plants, cacao, sugarcane, and early mornings in the countryside. Those memories became her roots and shaped who she is.

Years later, after moving to the U.S., she carried those memories with her. While working in sales and marketing, she felt the need to create something of her own — something connected to her culture and her home.

Then came Zack.
Born and raised in Seville, Ohio, he brought encouragement, stability, and the mindset of “let’s make this happen.” Together, we realized we could combine our backgrounds, our strengths, and our cultures to build something meaningful.

That’s how Roots & Culture Coffee was born, from tradition, inspiration, and the desire to share a piece of Colombia through every product we make.

For us, this brand is a way to honor Caro’s roots and the life we’re building together. Every roast, design, and detail reflects our intention to celebrate flavor, culture, and the people behind each bean.

We’re still at the beginning, learning and growing, but we’re grateful for every step, and for you being here.
